The goddesses of Ancient Greece are fascinating and multilayered figures, offering profound insights into the nature of the feminine and its expression in our lives.
The goddesses of Ancient Greece are fascinating and multilayered figures, offering profound insights into the nature of the feminine and its expression in our lives.
Through mythology and the stories surrounding them, these goddesses can be explored as archetypal figures, revealing patterns, qualities and inner forces that continue to shape our relationships, choices and understanding of ourselves. Their symbolism also invites us to reflect on the place of the feminine in society and in our lives, whether we are women or men.
During this workshop, we will explore the six Greek goddess archetypes of Athena, Artemis, Hestia, Hera, Demeter and Aphrodite. We will discover the myths surrounding each goddess and begin to decode the deeper meanings, symbols and energies they embody.
We will then focus on one goddess in greater depth, allowing us to explore the many layers of her mythology and the more subtle dimensions of her archetype. Through this deeper exploration, we will discover how her stories may illuminate aspects of our own lives, reveal familiar patterns and open new possibilities for personal growth and transformation.
How the workshop unfolds
We will begin with an introduction to the six goddesses, exploring their myths, distinctive qualities, places of origin, and symbolic significance. We will consider how their archetypes may manifest in our personalities, relationships, and everyday experiences.
We will then choose one goddess for a more in-depth exploration, entering the complexity of her stories and uncovering meanings that may not be immediately apparent.
Through mythological storytelling, guided reflection, experiential exercises, and healing practices, we will explore how these archetypal energies relate to our inner world. The workshop offers space to dive into deeper waters, bring awareness to hidden patterns, and reconnect with qualities that may have been overlooked or underdeveloped.
By engaging with the myths in this way, we can discover how ancient wisdom may support greater self-understanding, inner balance, and a more conscious relationship with ourselves and others.
