Marianna took our group of 8 women to Delphi, and honestly, from the moment we got on the bus in Athens at 6am to the moment we stepped off at the end of the trip, it was the best day I’ve had for a very long time. Marianna is the perfect guide. On a practical level she organised everything, including delicious snacks on the bus, lunch and a beautiful private ceremonial event outside Delphi. She is an incredibly knowledgeable and enthusiastic guide — and I say that as a mythographer myself of 40+ years, and one who respects the deities who were worshipped in Greece.. I learnt a lot, and it was wonderful to walk round Delphi with someone who sees it as a sacred place, not a tourist spot. If you want a different tour, and you feel the call of those same deities, this is the one. I 100% recommend Marianna and hope to have more trips with her in other parts of Greece in the future.
