An experiential journey into the hero archetype, the challenges of life and the path of inner transformation.
Heracles is one of the most celebrated heroes of Ancient Greece. His extraordinary journey, marked by trials, challenges and acts of courage, offers a wealth of symbolic wisdom about the human psyche and the struggles we encounter along our own paths.
In this workshop, we will explore the deeper meanings hidden within the Twelve Labors of Heracles, focusing on one or two of these powerful myths and discovering how their symbolism relates to our personal experiences, inner conflicts and challenges in life.
Each labor can be approached as a stage in an initiatory journey, reflecting an aspect of ourselves that calls for awareness, development and transformation. Through the language of myth, we will explore the qualities we need to cultivate, the obstacles we must overcome and the inner resources that can help us move forward.
Before embarking on his great trials, Heracles encounters a choice between two paths, represented by the figures of Virtue and Vice. This pivotal moment reflects a choice we all face throughout our lives: whether to follow the path of growth, responsibility and conscious action, or to be guided by immediate gratification and the patterns that keep us from realizing our potential.
Through storytelling, symbolic exploration, guided reflection and experiential healing practices, we will uncover the different layers of the myth and connect them with our own life stories. We will explore how these ancient teachings can support inner healing, restore balance and help us navigate life's challenges with greater awareness.
How the workshop unfolds
We will begin by entering the world of Heracles and discovering the deeper meaning of his journey through the stories of his life. We will then focus on one or two of the Twelve Labors, exploring their symbolism and the challenges they represent in our own lives.
Through guided exercises, personal reflection and group activities, we will work with the themes that emerge from each myth, exploring how they relate to our experiences, inner conflicts and possibilities for growth.
The workshop provides space for personal exploration, sharing and integration, allowing participants to discover their own connections with the stories and their relevance to everyday life.
We will conclude by bringing these insights together and exploring how the wisdom of the myth can be applied in practical ways, supporting greater awareness, inner harmony and the courage to move forward on our own journey.
