Crete is a land steeped in mystery and ancient wisdom — a living tapestry woven from myth, earth, and spirit. From its sacred caves and forgotten temples to the windswept mountain peaks and hidden canyons, the island hums with an energy that feels older than time itself. Many of its early dream oracles and sanctuaries have transformed over the centuries into chapels or churches, yet their power still lingers in the stones and silence.

Our journey leads us to the island’s southern heart, in the region of Herakleion, where the majestic Asterousia Mountains - the “Star Mountains” - rise like guardians between heaven and earth. Along these slopes and valleys, powerful earth ley lines converge, forming a sacred current that has drawn seekers and healers for millennia. It is no coincidence that several ancient Asklepion healing centers once flourished along this energetic path, sanctuaries dedicated to renewal, soul searching, and divine communion.

Here, in the radiant stillness of Crete’s south, we will walk in the footsteps of the ancients - to listen, to remember, and to awaken the wisdom that lives within the land and within ourselves.

June is the beginning of the summer, indicating a time of openess and joy, a sacred threshold between spring’s renewal and summer’s abundance. It invites us to open our hearts, release what no longer serves us, and step fully into the light of being.

On June 21st, we will honor the Summer Solstice in ceremony and reverence, a sacred turning point where light reaches its fullness. Together, we will invite the ancient feminine wisdom to rise within us, guiding us toward a new way of being, one that is intuitive, creative, and divinely inspired.

During this 11 or 7-day journey, we will move mostly through the landscapes of the Asterousia Mountains, going through powerful and majestic ancient sites, as well as beautiful beaches, and sacred caves of a timeless religion, as an initiation towards a heightened state of mind.

Our days will begin in sacred circle - meditation, prayer, intention-setting - attuning to the energy of each place. Throughout the day, we will walk the land and enter its stories, guided by myth, story, and inner connection.
Evenings will invite integration through sharing circles, movement, conscious dance, yoga, breathwork, journaling, Taoist practices, or meditative stillness.

You will stay in simple, authentic accommodations, as many of the sacred places we visit lie off the well-worn paths - quiet, hidden, and rarely known. Whenever possible, we will rest in more comfortable or luxurious settings, allowing the body to soften as the spirit expands.

This journey is for those who feel a deep call - not only to explore Crete and its timeless civilization, but to touch the sacred, the mystical, and the unseen, the divine feminine presence and wisdom that still lingers in the energy of this sacred island.

A few words about your Guide

Marianna Tsili was born and raised in Athens, Greece - a land where mythology, history, and spirit still breathe through the mountains, seas, and ancient stones. From a young age, she felt a deep connection to the archetypal energies of her homeland and the invisible threads that link myth with the soul.

Her path weaves together cultural studies, writing, and spiritual practice with a calling to create experiences that awaken remembrance. As the founder of Mystical Greece, Marianna guides seekers through sacred landscapes not only as a traveler’s journey, but as an initiation into inner transformation.

Her work blends mythic storytelling, archetypal wisdom, energy practices, meditation, and somatic exploration, always with an emphasis on presence, observation, and embodied integration. For her, ancient sites are mirrors - reflecting the parts of ourselves that long to be seen and reclaimed.

In this retreat, Marianna brings her love for Crete, her sensitivity to the unseen, and her ability to hold safe, transformative space. Day 01

We meet in the city of Heraklion in Crete.
· We will meet in the hotel at 6 pm to begin our Journey with a circle, together with meditative and somatic practices.
· Dinner and evening walk in the city of Heraklion.
· Night spent in the city of Herakleion.

12 June 2026

Day 02

Knossos - Herakleion
· We explore the ancient city of Knossos, once the vibrant heart of Minoan civilization. Far more than a palace, Knossos was a living city, a place of ceremony, art, and innovation, dedicated to the Great Goddess and the harmony of life. Here myth and archaeology meet, inviting us to walk between worlds, through the corridors of time, and into the soul of ancient Crete.
· Beach time
· Evening practice and integration of the day’s work.
· Night spent in the city of Herakleion.

13 June 2026

Day 03

We drive to the Cave Skoteino
· We descend to the cave of Skoteino, which is quite an initiation and a bit of a hike, as we have to be careful while descending the four levels/floors of the cave.
It is said that this cave was devoted to Artemis (Vritomartis) and that it has been used for ritual, ceremony, or initiation since 5,000 BC. Archaeologist Paul Faure believes the cave is the same as the Labyrinth of the Minotaur.

14 June 2026

Day 04

Visit the Asclepieion in Lentas (ancient Levina)
· In the afternoon, we will hike (about 30–40 minutes) to Lion Hill (Lentas means “Lion”), where the energy of Rhea, Titaness and Mother of the Gods, is felt.
· If time allows, we can also visit the ruins of a Temple of Artemis, right above the sea, near the port.
· Acquaintance with the mythology of the area and energy work in the sacred site and at the top of Lion Hill.
· Night spent in Lentas.

15 June 2026

Day 05

Lentas
· We will visit (possibly by boat from Lentas) the beach/canyon Trafoulas (Trahoulas), where Ley Lines intersect at a cave, emanating powerful healing frequencies.
· Then we will go to the beach/canyon Tripiti (by boat again), where there is a powerful Dream Oracle Cave and a 3,000 BC Minoan town ruin.
· We eat in a beautiful, small local taverna in the canyon.
· We go back to Lentas for the night.

16 June 2026

Day 06

Agios Ioannis
· Drive to the Asterousia Mountain Range to climb to the top early in the morning. This sacred summit was a ceremonial portal in ancient times. Near the top is a mysterious hole in the ground where, according to legend, offerings were cast and re-emerged from another opening at the sea. Before reaching the top, there is a sanctuary to visit.
· Lunch at Thalori, then drive to Agios Ioannis.
· Relax at the beach, walk the labyrinth, and learn more about this place.
· Night spent at Agios Ioannis.

Day 07

Asclepieion of Agios Ioannis
· Visit the Asclepieion of Agios Ioannis in the morning and spend time in the dream caves.
· Beach time
· Integration time, energy practices.
· Night spent at Agios Ioannis.

Day 08

Cave of Hermes Kranaios - Tsoutsouras
· Walk to the Cave of Hermes Kranaios (also known as the Cave of Pan) and feel its energy. We will spend part of the day in the cave.
· Drive to Tsoutsouras.
· Night spent in Tsoutsouras.

19 June 2026

Day 09

Cave of Eileithyia (Goddess of Childbirth)
· Visit the Cave of Eileithyia (Goddess of Childbirth), once visited by pilgrims from around the world praying for and receiving guidance on how to call in their soul-child.
· Swim to the cool-water spring in a sea cave if conditions allow.
· Optional afternoon hike to a nearby beach.
· Integration time
· Night spent in Tsoutsouras.

21 June 2026

Day 10

Aspes - Herakleion
· Boat to Aspes, the Caves of Ancient Dream Oracles (Depending on weather).
· We will spend the day alone in the caves and on the beautiful beach that is there. Closing water ceremony.
· Night spent in Herakleion.
Alternative (If weather does not allow Aspes visit)
· Drive to Aghios Thomas, where worship once honored Artemis, Demeter, and her Daughter, goddesses of the underworld, and where it is said the Eleusinian Mysteries began.
· Night spent in Herakleion.

Deposit & Cancellation Policy

Your place in the circle is confirmed with a deposit of 600€. This deposit is a commitment to yourself and to the group, and it allows us to reserve accommodation and services on your behalf. For this reason, it is non-refundable if your participation is cancelled after the 12th of May 2026.

The remaining balance is due by the first week of May 2026.

● If you need to cancel:
Cancellations made before the 12th of May 2026 will receive the deposit back and a 50% refund of the remaining balance.
● Cancellations made after the 12th of May 2026 will be refunded (from the total) at 35%, as all arrangements will already have been set in motion.
● If you cannot attend, you are welcome to transfer your place to another person (friend, family member, or fellow seeker) with prior notice.

If the retreat is cancelled by the organizers, all payments, including the deposit, will be refunded in full. Please note that personal travel costs, such as flights, insurance, or additional expenses, are not covered.

Travel Insurance

For your peace of mind and protection, travel insurance is required for all participants. Your policy should include medical coverage, trip cancellation, and travel interruptions. Please arrange insurance at the time of booking and bring a copy of your policy with you. This ensures that, in the case of illness, unexpected changes, or travel disruptions, you are fully supported.
