7-day Journey to the Peloponnese

Loutraki – Corinth/Acrocorinth – Mycenae/Argos – Lykaion, Temple of Zeus/Vasse, Apollo Temple - Ancient Olympia - Foloi Oak Forest

Monday, 30th March 2026 - Monday, 6th April 2026

Seasonal Context: Catholic Holy Week (Easter Sunday: 5 April 2026)

Experience Easter as a living path into Christ Consciousness, supported by the wisdom of Greek philosophy and the soul-enriching power of the places we will visit in the Peloponnese. This land of mountains, rivers, beaches, canyons, and forests has been a cradle of myth and initiation for millennia. In Arcadia, the birthplace of Pan, stands the mountain sanctuary of Zeus Lykaios and the luminous Temple of Apollo Epikourios, the Helper: two poles of sky and sun that mirror our own ascent.

Easter is a threshold. From winter’s hush into spring’s opening, light lengthens, the heart seeks kinship, and the earth stirs with renewal. Riding the current of the Spring Equinox, we kindle our Ascension process through myth, story, embodiment, and meditative practice. The land is our guide, its memory written in stone, root, and wind.

Monday, 30th March 2026 - Monday, 6th April 2026

Over seven days, we move through southern Greece’s sacred geography. Some sites are wild and open to the elements; others are held within archaeological sanctuaries. Each place is a transmission, a portal, and a mirror.

We begin in Athens with a clear intention on the path ahead. The first stop is in Loutraki and the sea-cliff Heraion in Perachora, wherein lies the Temple of Hera, the royal consort. Here we will experience a cleansing process in the thermal spa before entering the field of the wife of Zeus and her majestic divine feminine presence.

The next day will be spent in Ancient Corinth, where we will climb the hill of the Acrocorinth and visit the temple of Aphrodite, which used to be that of the Sun God.

The next day, we will visit Mycenae’s Lion Gate and the Heraion of Argos, another Temple of Hera, where in the old days the divine union of masculine and feminine (Ieros Gamos) was celebrated. Nafplio is our next stop, only for the night, but enough to observe some of its beauty.

The next day, we will travel to and ascend Mount Lykaion, to visit the altar of Zeus, a place steeped with mystery, and visit the mountain-side Temple of Apollo Epikourios (Bassae), one of the best preserved ancient temples in Greece. Near the end of our journey, we will honor Ancient Olympia’s town and site, full of the vibrant energy of the waters of Alpheios river. On the last day, the Day of Resurrection, the Holy Easter, we will spend our time in the ancient Foloi Oak Forest, one of the largest and oldest in Europe.

Our days will begin in sacred circle - movement, meditation, prayer, intention-setting - attuning to the energy of each place. Throughout the day, we will walk the land and enter its stories, guided by myth, philosophy, and contemplation. Evenings will invite integration through sharing circles, movement, conscious dance, yoga, breathwork, journaling, Taoist practices, or meditative stillness.

You will stay in handpicked boutique accommodations - many with spa facilities (if possible) - where warmth, comfort, and water support your body in softening and renewal.

This tour is for those who are not only curious about Greece, but devoted to touching the sacred.
It is for those who feel that travel can be an initiation, a remembering, a threshold.

If the above feel like homecoming, and the sanctuaries and sacred spaces feel like familiar territory, then this call is for you.

Spaces are limited to keep the circle intimate.

Marianna Tsili

A few words about your Guide

Marianna Tsili was born and raised in Athens, Greece — a land where mythology, history, and spirit still breathe through the mountains, seas, and ancient stones. From a young age, she felt a deep connection to the archetypal energies of her homeland and the invisible threads that link myth with the soul.

Her path weaves together cultural studies, writing, and spiritual practice with a calling to create experiences that awaken remembrance. As the founder of Mystical Greece, Marianna guides seekers through sacred landscapes not only as a traveler’s journey, but as an initiation into inner transformation.

Her work blends mythic storytelling, archetypal wisdom, energy practices, meditation, and somatic exploration, always with an emphasis on presence, observation, and embodied integration. For her, ancient sites are mirrors — reflecting the parts of ourselves that long to be seen and reclaimed.

In this retreat, Marianna brings her love for Greece, her sensitivity to the unseen, and her ability to hold safe, transformative space. Her deepest intention is to help participants listen to the land, reconnect with the wisdom within, and ignite their own codes of ascension.

The Places We Will Visit

athens

Athens

A vibrant city where ancient and modern worlds meet. Under the gaze of the Parthenon, the wisdom of goddess Athena still whispers, guiding us to open the journey with clarity, vision, and empowerment. Here we set our intentions before stepping into the deeper mysteries of Greece’s sacred landscapes.

Loutraki

Loutraki - Heraion of Perachora

A land of healing waters and mythic memory. The hot springs invite purification and renewal, while the winds over the Heraion’s sea cliffs carry the scent of remembrance. Here we begin by cleansing body, heart, and mind, consecrating the path for the divine feminine presence to rise.

Ancient Corinth

Ancient Corinth - Acrocorinth

Ancient Corinth was a powerful city-state, home to traders, thinkers, and leaders who shaped the Mediterranean. Above it, Acrocorinth rises like a natural citadel, its summit long linked in tradition to the sun’s power and, in antiquity, crowned by a temple of Aphrodite. The strong wind at the top clears the mind and steadies the heart.

Mycenae

Mycenae - Argos

Mycenae is an important Bronze Age site known for the Lion Gate, royal tombs, and massive “Cyclopean” walls. Nearby, the Heraion of Argos is a sanctuary dedicated to the goddess Hera, set in a quiet valley. We visit both to understand the history of power at Mycenae and the long religious tradition of the Argolid.

Nafplion

Nafplion

Once the first capital of modern Greece, Nafplion is a beautiful old town that has preserved its sense of history. You feel it in the architecture, the fortresses, and the quiet corners. This is our pause by the sea, Nafplio’s harbor, cobbled lanes, and hilltop castle make a simple, beautiful setting to slow down and enjoy the evening.

Lykaion

Lykaion - Temple of Zeus

Mount Lykaion stands high in Arcadia, with a summit sanctuary to Zeus Lykaios. The ancient ash altar and traces of old games remind us that this was a sacred athletic and worship site. The wide views and clear air invite simple presence and an ignition of generosity and courage.

Temple of Apollo

Temple of Apollo Epikourios (Bassae)

The Temple of Apollo Epikourios at Bassae sits on a quiet mountain ridge, far from the cities. Here, Apollo is “Epikourios,” the Helper, honored as a bringer of aid and clarity. The site feels calm and clean; stepping among the columns helps the mind settle and the breath deepen. We visit to reset, find simple strength, and continue with a steadier heart. This is one of the best preserved temples in Greece.

Ancient Olympia

Ancient Olympia

In the wide, river-braided plain of Elis, Olympia gathers the world into a circle of peace. This was a place of truce and fair contests dedicated to Zeus. Walking the stadium and temples, we touch the roots of aretē - virtue and excellence - not as rivalry, but as steady growth. These qualities are part of our Ascension codes.

Foloi Oak Forest

Foloi Oak Forest

A living cathedral of oaks spreads over the hills of Foloi, dappled with light and the quiet footfall of myth. The land whispers of centaurs and guardians, of the hospitable Pholos and the wisdom that dwells in old bark and deep roots. Walking beneath these broad canopies, breath slows; the nervous system remembers the pace of trees. Here we listen with the whole body, letting the forest restore balance, mend what is frayed, and ground our journey in a steadier, earth-held grace.
